BOR--RING

Since last time I updated was such a big update, I've been trying to find something to post on. And let me tell you, nothing has happened! Well actually something big did happen. After wanting to since October, I finally got much hair chopped off!! Seriously, it is above my shoulders and darker. I love it, but you will just have to wait for a picture. I can't get a good one taken, and I suck at taking pictures of myself. I am convinced that if you want to look at a zombie, then let me take a picture of myself. I looke like a zombie/horror movie chic. It' AIN'T pretty.

On an even cooler note, we finally got our wedding book! It's so much more than I EVER expected it to be. Matt Terry outdid himself. Ya'll check him out. http://www.mattterry.biz

That's leather ya'll!

And really thick pages! (i'm channelling Britney Spears for the moment)

So I know it was a short post, I have rented a few movies for this weekend. I'll try to watch them all and give updates on how bad/good I think they are.

And finally I would like to wish everyone a B-Lated Easter. You know me better late than never!

I made really cute and delicious cookies. YUM-O!

Fort Walton or Bust

So as I stated in my last post, we headed to the beach! However, it was not Destin but Fort Walton. Oops. Anyway, we had an agenda. Rather, I had to an agenda. I was to be Maid of Honor in my bestest (our word!) friend wedding. Miss Patchez. I have a lot of pictures and many funny stories to share!

The beginning of getting ready was of course, my pedicure. With the polish that Patchez insisted I get. Cayon Shrimp. A little bright for me (i'm a pink girl as we all know) but not terrible. And of course I had to wear my new shoes!

Okay, before you see this picture, you have to understand that we drove 5 hours home and then another 8 1/2 to Fort Walton. For a total of 13 1/2 HOURS. So Caleb was not feeling it too well.

He was a little bored, however once we got there he was fine.

The first place we ate at was Fudpuckers. Which I hate to say it, is mainly for there T-shirts. I will quote Kit in saying it was a $40 Captain D's meal. Meaning it was not that good. However, thanks to Patchez we got a cute picture together!

And we got a pic of the Future Longs.

I don't know if anyone can tell, but Kit doesn't like pictures!

The next day, aka Wedding Day, my mom was kind enough to take some pictures of us. I don't want to post them all, so i will post the one were we both are looking at the camera, Caleb's crocs aren't showing, my lazy eye is open and neither one of us has major fat rolls, double chins or anything embarassing to show. So this is the one it is!

I want to put it in black and white but haven't felt like playing with my photoshop yet.

Okay so after all that fun, we had a reason for being there. The wedding of course. So I picked this photo of us girls all ready for the festivities.

And look at Little Miss Thang! If she isn't going to be a heart breaker then I don't know who is!

And my mom asked Caleb if he could give Kit a word of advice. And of course his advice was . . .

Don't! We all know he was kidding and they both thought it was funny.

And the happy couple. Mr. and Mrs. Long.

A big thanx to Kit's sis, Jamie. Since I forgot to get a picture, I took this one from her MySpace!

And last but not least I would like to give a shout out to the Solid Gold Dancers!

After the wedding we went to the Lucky Snapper to have the reception. And there was a live band there. And needless to say these girls got there boogy on. This has got to be one of the highlights of the weekend. They were so cute!!

6 Months already

Well as my title states, Caleb and I have been married for 6 months! Doesn't even seem like it! Well we didn't do much, since we are trying to save a little for Destin. We actually ate at Olive Garden (yummy) and went to Barnes and Noble (yes i'm a book nerd) and came home. Sorry we are a bit of homebodies.

Well I have found a new love. Well an old one, but it has been resurected (sp?). I went shopping today and went to Belk looking for shirts for my mom. Which I didn't find. Sorry mom. However I did find these!
How cute are they!! I'm so excited and can't wait to wear them. They had a ton of them out on display and I ALMOST went nuts. But caught myself. If I have a drug of choice it is shoes! Well that and chocolate and Sonic Diet Cokes (Large please).

As many of you know, I am a book nerd. And wanted to mention that I finished reading this.

If it sounds familiar, it's been made into a major motion picture starring Natalie Portman as Anne Boleyn and Scarlott Johansson as Mary Boleyn. Which is what attracted me to read it. First off, it's a LONG book. Not as long as the last Harry Potter, but long non the less. And I have to say, I really enjoyed it. I really want to see the movie, but can't drag my husband to see it. I think I may have ruined things but making him see Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
Hopefully next week i'll have a little more to post and mor pictures. We leave for Destin on Friday morning and I can't wait to see Caleb on the beach! Which I know ya'll can't either!

The Flu is Over!

Well for this household anyway. Thanks to Northeast LA, Caleb came home with icky flu. Of course, I thought I was just getting a sinus infection. Boy was I wrong! The flu is a mean, mean non-discriminating piece of work. I don't even remember one day at all! However, I did have to say that my husband did things for me I never expected. He was so amazing! He kept the temperature freezing in our apartment (because being hot made me hurt), he kept changing my water out every hour to make sure it was cold, got me flowers and even candles! My flowers. Not much, but i loved them!
My candles before. I think he may have been worry that I was going to burn the house down. And yes those are dried oranges. I dehydrated them myself!

My candles now! Don't they look so much better? The funny thing is that he said he now realized why I hadn't bought any new ones in 5 months. Since they were $5 each! I told him, that I wait until they are put on sell for $1-2.

On another note, we woke up this morning and saw this!
Yes that is more snow. I don't mind it, but when the weather is so gorgeous and in the 70s and today is 22 and snowing, It gets O-L-D. Oh well what do you do?
