A Weekend of Fun or Pizza

Okay, so here is our big weekend update. Caleb's parents, sister and neice came all the way up here to visit little ole' us. We both loved having them here and things went a lot smoother than expected. Everyone had a bed/mattress to sleep on, and everyone slept comfortably. We all had good food (pizza, steak, and pancakes all of Caleb's major food groups!). The only thing that I would change is 1 bathroom for 6 people. I don't know what Mike Brady was thinking! But didn't he and Carol have their own?? Regardless of the bathroom, we were very happy they cam up here.

The first place we went is Chuck E Cheese! Were I think Caleb had more fun than anyone of us. And the pizza was SO good. Too bad you have to have a kid to get in the place. And sadly they are th only picture I have of our great weekend. So here are a few. . .

Riding the "rollercoaster" Woahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

The classic Whack A Mole game. Which we cheated on! Sorry Chuck E!

I have more, but they aren't as cute as these. Afterwards, we all went shopping. Promenade and Ozark Armary (sp?). And NO we did not got together. The girls went to the promenade and the boys went the other way. Then we had some awesome grub.

So for a little bit of comedy and a much over due project, I finally started my wedding/wedding shower scrapbook. I've only done one shower so far and I must say, Amanda over-did herself. There were 102 pictures for the big shower! So to give you an idea of how I scrapbook, I took a picture.

I required a few things to scrapbook. 1. A WHOLE floor. 2. A table. and 3. A big diet coke! (ie. the Krispy Kreme cup).

Okay, so that's it for this post. And I leave you with this picture and quote.

"OH I just realized the Sheriff was a wolf. That explains the pack of wolves shooting arrows" -- Words of Wisdom spoken by my darling husband while watching Robin Hood. Love you!

Happy Un-Birthday

So I'll kinda continue from my last post, as you know it was everyone in the office's birthday except for mine. Well. . . they let me know it!

But how cute is this?!? Go HOGS!! Woo Pig Sooieee!!!

Okay, in other news. It's fricken C-O-L-D!!! and i'm tired of staying inside! The roads are WAY too slick for me to get out on, so i'm stuck inside. There are only so many episodes of the Golden Girls a girl can watch.

We should be having a big weekend, so i'll post on that laterz.

New!

Okay, so it seems everytime I call home I have a ton of things to tell everyone. I just however, seem to forget EVERYTHING! So this is my way of letting everyone know what is up with our lives here. We do so much up here and yet, forget to share the memories with the ones that matter. Be patient with me because I am NEW to this. I am also wasn't an English major, so my spelling/grammer will not be great. I am from the south after all.

Okay, so on to my FIRST OFFICIAL BLOG POST EVA!
This week was a birthday week for everyone at the office I work for. The doc's birthday, Courts and D's were all in this time frame. So the creative bug bit me in the butt and I decided to do cookies. Not just ANY cookies. Fun decorative cookies. So I looked on every website and learned how to make them. I bought Betty Crocker Sugar cookie mix (gotta love her!) and Betty Crocker Chocolate Chic mix (just incase the sugar cookies were inedible). Got my trusty Kitchen Aid mixer (second time to use it YES!) and icing mix. I have to say, I made a MESS!! Who knew powdered sugar needs liquid in there before turning the mixer on. Thank God Caleb wasn't home. He would have HATED the mess I made. However, they turned out really cute and i'm quite proud of them.

These are special phrases heard in our office, that only the staff will understand! LoL

As many of ya'll know, I have a pink obcession. I wanted HOT pink, but this was all I got. Maybe next time.
