What's Happening

First off I'll start off by saying Happy B-Lated Valentines day everyone! Sorry it's a little late, but we got busy during that weekend. I'll start by telling everyone what we did. We actually celebrated on Wednesday instead of Thursday. You will not believe the craziness that surrounds Valentines and people trying to get a reservation. No thank you. We went to the Olive Garden, since we didn't get to go for our anniversary. It was sooooooo good. Yummy! I gained 2 pounds just smelling it!! Then we came home and caleb went to Tae Kwon Doe. So i know your wondering what he got me and what I got him.

Gifts from him included: European chocolates (which were sooooo good. I LOVE some chocolate!) and The Simpsons season 10 on dvd. No that isn't a typo, I'm a simpsons addict.

Gifts from me included: A blue cup that holds in the cool and hot (thanks to his family, he will only drink out of these things. And I have 2 and they have magically disappeared. I'm thinking Wal-Mart may know where they are though!), 2 books (the Art of War and Guns: A history), and a heater for the garage which is where he does all of his reloading. Now the heater is actually on IOU because I could not find one in all this cold town! I found water radiators and humidifiers galor, but not heater!

Friday after work, we went back home to the burg and strop city. I would like to send a big Thank You to the brother and sister in laws for letting us use there comfy bed for Saturday night. And for keeping my makeup safe. Ha! Yes ya'll I left my makeup 5 hours from my face! Figured it out at 9 p.m. and ran to Wal-Mart for backup. We had a good time catching up with friends and family.

I would also like to send a big congrats to my mom for her onyx (sp?). They were out in New Mexico for this hunt. And according to my dad it's even bigger than the one in Simmons.

So i'll leave you an update on the sickling. He is doing a lot better, and even went to work today. We both think he got a bit of the flu. Blah! And to make things worse, I woke up with flem and a sore throught. i think mine though is from this crazy weather. It's raining. Double Blah!

Random

It's been awhile since I posted anything, but in all fareness life has been a little boring. Which is what I like! However, Friday was special. We celebrated our 5 months of being married. We were going to the Olive Garden (yum) but he ended up working late thanks to those people at Wal-Mart who want to do something important at 4:30. However, he did make it home by 6 and we ended up going to the Outback, which was equally yumming. Love some blooming onions!

In more boring news (can't you just hear the ABC news playing), the weather (yes I said weather) is driving me absolutely NUTS! One day we had rain, then snow, then it's 70 degrees! I love variety but seriously.

Last night we ended up renting movies and watch 3:10 to Yuma.

It was okay. Nothing to go nuts over. It's one of those movies that you either love it or you don't. And I didn't. The eye candy factor sucked. Yes, there are some nice looking guys in there but when they are covered in blood and dirt. YUCK. Oh well. We have two more movies maybe they will be better (fingers crossed).

Snow!

So as I have bragged to everyone, we got snow! It was such a treat to wake up on Thursday and Friday morning to such a beautiful blanket of white. Granted I stayed indoors the whole time, the scenery was still gorgeous. I think we ended up getting around 5 inches (all of which fell onto my Runner!). So here are a few pictures. I didn't take as many as I would have liked, but I was just in awe of everything, I forgot!!

Posin!

I know you prolly can't tell much, but that small mound of snow was our attempt at a snowman! Our attention spans didn't last long enough. It was cold!

A little update, Caleb had his wisdom teeth taken out Friday. He is doing great and sleeping constantly. He claims he is going to milk this for all it's worth, because i'm babying him so much and that he can never have those teeth pulled again! I just remember how it felt. Not great!
